Blue Cross NC seeks a Principal Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to lead technical data support for actuarial financial data systems and marts. You will define business requirements and deliver solutions for accurate financial data while guiding complex trend analyses for plan divisions.

The role requires 8+ years of related experience (or 10+ years without a degree) and strong SQL, data mart management, and cloud tech. Hybrid work and benefits are discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required (or 10+ years experience in related field in lieu of degree).
• 8+ years of experience in actuarial data systems or related fields.
• 5+ years SQL development/analysis; Snowflake and AWS experience are highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop complex decision support data solutions, data extracts, reports, data marts, and analyses; manage full development life cycle.
• Perform monthly data refreshes, validations, automations, and QA checks for executive financial reporting.
• Lead maintenance and optimization of Actuarial Systems Data Marts.
• Serve as lead for multiple data areas, define data structures, rules, and requirements.
• Collaborate with business teams to analyze challenges, propose solutions, and communicate impacts.
