Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina seeks a Principal Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to lead data solutions for actuarial financial data and marts. You will drive requirements, develop data extracts, reports, and data marts, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Requires 8+ years of experience, advanced degree, strong SQL/Snowflake/AWS, and leadership in projects. Hybrid-Flex role with remote collaboration and in-person coordination in Durham, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required; 8+ years of experience in related fields.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years SQL development/analysis highly preferred.
• 5+ years experience with medical claims/Pharmacy data highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop complex decision support data solutions, data extracts, reports, data marts, and analysis across actuarial systems.
• Perform monthly data refreshes, validations, and quality checks for executive financial reporting.
• Lead data marts maintenance and optimization for actuarial data.
• Provide technical leadership, define data structures, and support audits and regulatory requirements.
