Munich Re Specialty - North America seeks an actuarial pricing analyst to support insurtech program pricing, rate filings, and pricing analyses. You will develop rates and loss projections, communicating results to underwriters and clients.

The role requires four to six actuarial exams, ACAS at Associate level, and four+ years in insurance pricing. The company offers comprehensive benefits and compensation, with openings in Princeton, NY, or Hartford.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business or related field.
• Passed four to six actuarial exams for Actuarial Analyst Senior level.
• ACAS for Associate Actuary level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete pricing analyses with some guidance, including rates, loss projections and results communication.
• Support pricing and portfolio management projects and document assumptions for internal/external clients.
• Discuss actuarial concepts like exposure, trend, loss development with guidance.
• Identify data issues requiring specialized actuarial attention.
• Provide actuarial insight as a participant on a Line of Business Expert Group.
• Pursue CAS exams and train others on analyses and methodologies.
