Job summary

Munich Re Specialty - North America is seeking an Actuarial Analyst Senior for Insurtech Programs in locations across the Northeast. The role focuses on pricing, rating support, and model development to meet program goals.

The candidate will analyze, evaluate, model, and rate competitive solutions for clients and support rate filings while advancing CAS exams and sharing actuarial insights with underwriters and risk analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business or related field.
• Passed four to six actuarial exams for Actuarial Analyst Senior level.
• ACAS for Associate Actuary level.
• At least four years of insurance/reinsurance and actuarial pricing experience.
• Good technical actuarial skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; PowerBI for ratemaking, pricing, modeling, data analysis.
• Experience using Python, SAS, R or similar statistical software in pricing applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete pricing analyses with some guidance, including rates, loss projections, and results communication.
• Support result monitoring, pricing and portfolio management to assist underwriters and management.
• Discuss and apply actuarial concepts involving exposure adjustments, trend, loss development, exposure rating with guidance.
• Identify data issues requiring actuarial attention.
• Provide actuarial insight as a participant on a Line of Business Expert Group.
• Pursue CAS exams for professional development.
• Train others (underwriters, client managers, risk analysts, accountants, actuaries) in analyses and methodologies.
