Job summary

The Residence at North Ridge in New Hope, MN is seeking an Activities and Transportation Assistant to support our rehabilitation team and TR program, meeting the physical, mental, psycho-social and spiritual needs of residents.

This full-time role offers mid-day hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with responsibilities including planning activity programs, transporting residents, assisting with outings and special events, and maintaining safety with pre-trip vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 24+ years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no revocations, suspensions, or cancellations in the last 5 years).
• Ability to pass an MN DOT physical.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct activity programs under direct supervision.
• Assist with outings and transport residents to programs.
• Conduct one-to-one therapeutic visits with residents.
• Assist with decorations and publicity of therapeutic programs.
• Perform pre-trip safety checks and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Record daily attendance and support care/family conferences.
