Job summary

Northland Heights in the North Hills is seeking an Activities Aide to support the Recreation Director in delivering engaging programs for residents. You will plan, lead, and back up activities, helping residents stay active and connected in a caring, community-focused setting.

Responsibilities include escorting residents to events, assisting with transportation, maintaining supplies, and recording attendance. Full-time schedule with consistent weekday hours and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Experience in a nursing facility preferred.
• Willingness to complete Direct Care Training.
• Ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Recreation Director in planning and coordinating activities and events for residents and their loved ones.
• Prepare and lead activities and implement back up activities as needed.
• Escort and encourage residents to attend and participate in activities and events.
• Assist with resident transportation to events and activities, inside and outside the facility.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and report needs.
• Ensure general cleanliness of activities areas.
• Maintain attendance and participation records for activities.
