Job summary

The Courville at Nashua, a senior healthcare community in Nashua, NH, is seeking an energetic Full-time Activities Director to enrich residents' lives. This on-site role requires coordinating daily activities, planning events, and collaborating with staff to create a vibrant calendar for residents and their families.

At least a high school diploma is required, with CPR certification and a driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• May also be qualified as a therapeutic recreation specialist or/and activities professional certified by the accrediting body or qualified occupational therapist.
• CPR licensed and trained in first aid; a valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically run daily activities that engage residents.
• Develop new activities that appeal to residents' diverse interests.
• Safely transport residents to and from activities.
• Observe residents' physical, emotional, social and spiritual health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document MDS and other notes; maintain activity-related records.
• Coordinate the activities program with other departments and develop monthly calendars.
