Job summary

The Waters, located in Edina, MN, seeks an Activities Coordinator to develop and lead engaging programs that help residents thrive. You will coordinate exercise classes, creative arts, social events, and personal activities to support meaningful connections for our residents in a memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

The Activities Coordinator, also titled the Active Life Coordinator, is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person-centered social connections to inspire joy, meaningful interactions, and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing, Creative Arts, Social Connections, Waters Academy, Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment.
