Job summary

The Waters seeks an Activities Coordinator to plan and lead engaging programs that help residents thrive. You will design exercise classes, creative arts, culinary activities, and social interactions, while supporting residents with personal engagements and off-site trips.

• Love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience with seniors or memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

M- F 8- 4:30 with a very occasional weekend

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements

• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred
