Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is seeking an Activities Coordinator to support our Petals Memory Care program. This role focuses on social connections, meaningful engagements, and life fulfillment for residents, with activities including exercise, arts, and community outings.

This part-time position runs Monday to Friday with certain weekend coverage, offering competitive benefits and growth through The Waters' values-driven culture.

ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR

20 hours per week - includes Bus Driving

Bus Driving: Mondays 8:30AM - 12PM

On site Activities Mondays 12PM - 4PM; Fridays 9AM - 1PM

Every other Saturday

The Activities Coordinator, also titled The Active Life Coordinator, is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person-centered social connections to inspire joy, meaningful interactions, and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing, Creative Arts, Social Connections, Waters Academy, Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

• A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate
