Job summary

The Waters in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Activities Coordinator for the Petals Memory Care Program. This on-site role involves developing and leading activities to help residents thrive, including exercise classes, creative arts, social events, and off-site excursions.

Qualifications

• A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements
