Job summary

Haven Health Sedona is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Manager in developing, implementing, supervising and evaluating the activities program for residents. This role includes coordinating individual and group activities and assisting in program execution as part of the care plan goals.

You will schedule activities, help implement the care plan, and contribute to a safe, engaging daily routine for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have Fingerprinting Clearance Card or eligible to obtain.
• Background screening, licensure verification (if applicable), reference check, drug testing.
• Tuberculosis testing required.
• Employee health screening (conducted after hire).
• Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program.
• Schedule activities for individuals and groups; coordinate with care team.
• Assist in implementing the activities component of the comprehensive assessment and care plan goals.
