Job summary

Haven Health Sedona is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Manager in developing, implementing, supervising and evaluating the activities program for residents. This role includes coordinating individual and group activities and assisting in program execution as part of the care plan goals.

You will schedule activities, help implement the care plan, and contribute to a safe, engaging daily routine for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have Fingerprinting Clearance Card or eligible to obtain.
• Background screening, licensure verification (if applicable), reference check, drug testing.
• Tuberculosis testing required.
• Employee health screening (conducted after hire).
• Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Description

The Activity Assistant works under the direction of the Activity Manager and assists in directing the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program. This includes assisting in the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment along with the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches. The Activity Assistant assists in the direction of the activity program, which includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, and assisting in the implementation of such programs.
