Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• Knowledge of working with a wide variety of resident demographics.
• CNA certification or enrollment in healthcare program preferred.
• BLS required based on location; CPR training within six months if required.
• Maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.
• Driver's license and driving safety per Sanford policy.

Responsibilities

• Administers the monthly activity calendar and plans activities.
• Elicits resident input and keeps activities organized and upbeat.
• Assists with simple nursing tasks and transporting residents.
• Supports MDS/EPIC documentation and maintains quality records.
• Plans resources and designs work processes to enhance engagement.
