Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred; geriatrics background preferred.
• CNA certification preferred; BLS may be required at location; CPR training within six months of hire.
• Sanford Driving Policy requires valid driver's license and motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Administers the monthly activity calendar.
• Regularly elicits patients/residents input into activity planning and keeps activities organized and upbeat.
• Assist with simple nursing procedures and transporting patients/residents.
• Document in MDS/EPIC and maintain required competencies and certifications.
• Demonstrates leadership to develop and motivate people and plans resource use.
