Job summary

Good Samaritan in International Falls, MN is seeking an Activities Aide to bring joy and meaningful moments to residents. You will lead crafts, games, music, and social activities while supporting special events and seasonal programs.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, creative, patient, and enjoy working with seniors. Prior CNA or healthcare program participation is preferred; BLS may be required depending on location. This role is PRN with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred; geriatrics experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred or currently enrolled in healthcare program; BLS may be required; CPR training within six months.
• Driver's license and driving record may be required per location.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in residents’ daily lives by leading activities such as crafts, bingo, games, music, and socials.
• Assist with special events, entertainment, and seasonal activities.
• Spend time outdoors with residents and engage in activities together.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Provide encouragement, companionship, and fun to residents’ days.
