Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Management and Contracting Professional to lead high-impact acquisition programs for DoD/DoW systems.

You will plan, execute, and oversee complex contracting efforts, engaging with senior government officials and guiding a support team across proposals, program reviews, and performance assessments. The role requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a Master’s degree with 15+ years in acquisition/program management, including 10 years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 15 years of related acquisition/program management experience, including 10 years in a leadership position.
• Extensive knowledge of DoD/DoW program management and contracting policies and procedures for the development, production and fielding of major weapon systems.
• Extensive experience with Defense Acquisition management processes per the DoD 5000 series and FAR/DFARS.
• Ability to lead projects from start to finish, including cost, schedule and performance responsibilities; oversee scope, strategy, team coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; lead a team on complex projects.
• Ability to contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and crafting proposals.
• Travel up to 10–25% based on customer and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Acquisition Management and Contracting analysis projects, including proposing, planning, assigning and managing task leads.
• Lead analysis of Acquisition Management and Contracting efforts with recommendations and final products.
• Lead the preparation of final products; lead meeting and workshop preparation and facilitation.
• Support cost, schedule, and performance management activities.
• Manage customer relationships throughout execution of Acquisition Management and Contracting projects.
• Provide leadership, analytical support, and SME to acquisition initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic planning, policy/procedures development, and performance standards review.
• Assist with contract execution, program reviews, and contractor performance assessments; mentor juniors.
• Identify, lead, and capture Acquisition Management opportunities and provide SME during proposal development.
• Oversee project execution.
