Job summary

Serco is seeking an Acquisition Management and Contracting professional to lead high-stakes DoD programs. This senior role requires active clearance, US citizenship, and deep DoD/DoW experience.

You will plan, analyze, and transform contracting efforts, mentor teams, and interact with senior government officials to deliver missions on time and within policy. Responsibilities include leading workshops, managing cost/schedule/performance, and pursuing business development through proposals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field; 15+ years in acquisition/program management
• Active Secret clearance or higher
• US citizenship required
• Extensive knowledge of DoD/DoW program management and contracting policies and procedures
• Extensive experience with Defense Acquisition management processes as contained in DoD 5000 series and FAR/DFARs
• Ability to lead projects from start to finish with cost, schedule and performance responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Acquisition Management and Contracting analysis and transformation projects
• Lead analysis of Acquisition Management and Contracting efforts; develop recommendations and final products
• Lead final product preparation; lead meetings and workshops
• Support cost, schedule, and performance management activities
• Manage customer relationships during execution of acquisition projects
• Provide leadership, analytical support, and SME to acquisition initiatives
• Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and process improvements
• Assist with contract execution, program reviews, and contractor performance assessments; mentor junior staff
• Identify and capture acquisition opportunities; provide SME during proposal development
• Oversee project execution
