Job summary

QinetiQ US in the United States is seeking a Senior Acquisition Manager/Specialist to lead acquisition efforts for highly classified space control systems and coordinate defense acquisition boards. You will work with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a Master’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and proven leadership in managing programs across DoW/USSF domains.

Qualifications

• Expert in acquiring highly classified ACAT-like space control systems.
• Strong leadership to guide acquisition and systems engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical advice for projects and programs and support acquisition efforts for advanced technology and development.
• Draft and revise JCIDS and acquisition documentation (Initial Capability Documents, AoAs, CONOPS, System Requirements).
• Support status reporting for projects, programs, or portfolios.
• Identify risk and propose feasible mitigation actions and process improvements.
• Support commitments, obligations, and expenditures; perform earned value management and schedule analysis.
