Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a senior acquisition and program leadership professional to support and sustain defense and space programs for U.S. Space Force and mission partners.

The role emphasizes leadership of acquisition teams, technical engagement, and compliance with defense process standards. Candidates should have a Master’s degree, 20+ years of experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and strong knowledge of PPBE and Space Acquisition terminology.

• Air Force/Space Command terminology familiarity
• Demonstrated leadership of acquisition and systems engineering teams

• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• PMT 4010 Certificate (or predecessor)
• Cost & Req Systems, MAR Reporting Software, MS Office, TMT

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical advice for projects and programs including integration activities.
• Support JCIDS and acquisition documentation drafting such as IC, AOA, CONOPS, and System Specifications.
• Provide inputs and support on status reporting for projects or portfolios.
• Identify areas of improvement with actionable recommendations and risk mitigation plans.
• Support commitments, obligations, and expenditures of funds and perform earned value management and schedule analysis.
• Advise on Integrated Baseline Reviews and cost/schedule performance issues.
• Review and analyze packages for compliance with contractual requirements including Data Item Descriptions and CDRLs.
• Analyze surveillance reports and contractor performance and advise government on resolutions.
• Perform IMS reconciliation to ensure traceability to IMP events.
• Maintain broad awareness of all programs and technology development across the portfolio.
• Advise the Government program manager on technical engagements and establish interfaces.
• Assist in source selections including drafting evaluation and acquisition strategy.
