Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Strategic Cell Senior Acquisition Management Specialist to lead acquisition efforts for space control systems in support of DoW and USAF partners. You will coordinate documentation, policy alignment, and program reviews with Space Systems Command and Defense boards.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required with advanced knowledge in acquisition programs.
• TS/SCI eligibility is required (#qinetiqclearedjob).
• 20+ years of experience in space programs and acquisition.
• Deep understanding of DoW space launch, ground and sustainment.
• Expert in acquiring highly classified ACAT-like space systems.
• Knowledge of PPBE and headquarters staffing processes.
• Proven ability to lead acquisition and systems engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical advice for programs and acquisitions.
• Coordinate performance reports per Space Systems Command and DoW policy.
• Interface with internal/external acquisition organizations; ensure document quality.
• Align portfolio acquisitions with manpower and funding.
• Identify discrepancies and advise on corrective actions.
• Maintain acquisition forecasts and resolve inconsistencies.
• Incorporate inputs from force design and priority lists for recommendations.
• Support integrated product teams and working groups across programs.
• Advise government program managers on engagements and interfaces.
• Draft and process program acquisition information for public release.
