Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks a Senior Acquisition Manager / Specialist to lead the acquisition and management of highly classified ACAT-like space control systems for DoD programs. You will coordinate documentation, schedules, and governance with stakeholders across technical teams and government partners.

The role requires expert-level program management and a track record of leading acquisition teams in fast-paced environments. TS/SCI clearance and a strong PPBE background are essential.

Qualifications

Masters Degree required.
20+ years of relevant experience.
TS/SCI Eligibility required.
Expert in acquiring highly classified ACAT-like space control systems.
Ability to lead acquisition and systems engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance for projects and programs including advanced tech development and integration.
Draft and support JCIDS and acquisition documentation.
Support status reporting for projects, programs, or portfolios.
Identify risk areas and develop actionable mitigation plans.
Manage funds, perform earned value management, and schedule analysis for defense contracts.
Advise on technical engagements and coordinate customer/contractor interfaces.
Assist in source selections with plans, strategies, and evaluations.
