Job summary

Harcros is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee the full-cycle AP process in our Kansas City area office. You will review, code, and process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring proper cost allocations and three-way match prior to approvals.

You will process invoices using Sage X3, collaborate with locations and the AP team to resolve discrepancies, and mentor teammates on AP systems and workflows.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Familiar with accounting ERP systems is highly valued.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process.
• Review, code, and process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Verify invoice details, ensure proper cost allocations, three-way match, and approvals.
• Process vendor invoices using Sage X3 accounting software.
• Collaborate with locations and AP team to resolve discrepancies.
• Mentor and assist team members with AP ERP systems and document management updates.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve outstanding issues.
• Analyze and reconcile designated general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and audit-related activities.
