Harcros Chemicals is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee the full-cycle AP process in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will manage high-volume vendor invoices, ensure three-way matches, and process payments, leveraging Sage X3.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration across locations, and adherence to accounting standards. You will mentor junior team members, support month-end close and audits, and contribute to process improvements within an employee-owned organization that values

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience in high-volume AP processing and control.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes.
• Code and process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately.
• Ensure three-way match and proper approvals for payments.
• Process invoices in Sage X3.
• Collaborate with locations to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Mentor and train AP team on ERP and documentation updates.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
• Support month-end close and audit activities.
• Contribute to additional accounting tasks as assigned.
