Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage supplier invoices, purchase orders, and related logs with accuracy and timeliness.

You will support month-end accruals, reconcile vendor statements, and maintain strong vendor relationships while assisting regional AP efforts for large expenditures such as disposal costs and fuel. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with accounting software packages (e.g., DSL-Solomon, SAP, Great Plains).
• Committed to accuracy and timely processing of payments and accruals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices by reviewing coding and approvals and entering them into the AP system.
• Maintain purchase order logs and ensure proper approvals are obtained.
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all invoices are captured for payment.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Assist in monthly AP accrual calculations and journal entries.
• Maintain positive vendor relations and timely communications.
• Support regional AP activities for large expenses (e.g., disposal costs, fuel).
• Provide administrative support across accounting and operations as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AP processes.
