Job summary

BYD America Corporation seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our corporate AP function. Balance hands-on operational excellence with strategic leadership, ensuring smooth daily P2P operations and accurate month-end closings while mentoring the AP team.

You will drive process improvements, implement foolproof controls within ERP, leverage OCR and automated workflows, and deliver regular AP reviews to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, or professional certifications preferred; 5–8 years accounting with 3 years in supervision.
• Strong US GAAP, SOX and SoD understanding; ERP/AP tools proficiency.
• Excellent coaching, communication and SOP authoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP and P2P operations.
• Enforce 3‑way match protocols across entities.
• Manage corporate treasury payments and DPO optimization.
• Lead AP month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Lead, mentor and develop the AP team with clear KPIs.
• Develop AP analytics and monthly/quarterly reports.
• Implement foolproof controls in ERP with automation.
