Behr Paint Company in the United States is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP operations across the U.S. and Canada, directing invoice processing, payments, and vendor inquiries while building a high-performing team.

This role focuses on strengthening internal controls, driving automation, and collaborating across Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT to deliver accurate and timely payables in a large, complex organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in Accounts Payable or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end AP operations, payments and controls.
• Experience with audits, reconciliations, accruals, month-end close.
• Proven track record in process improvement and automation.
• Experience with SAP or Tungsten ERP and AP automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the invoice and payment management for the U.S. and Canada.
• Lead all aspects of invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor support.
• Guide and develop a dedicated AP team; strengthen controls.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance, cash forecasting, and month-end close activities.
