Job summary

CIM Group in West Jordan, Utah is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead consolidated AP and expense management across multiple entities. This role demands hands-on leadership, process standardization, and strong internal controls.

You will oversee invoice processing, vendor onboarding, payment schedules, and month-end close while mentoring a multi-location AP team and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of AP best practices, internal controls, and accounting principles.
• Experience in a multi-entity, roll-up, or private equity-backed environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end invoice processing and expense management across all entities.
• Manage vendor onboarding processes for tax compliance and reporting.
• Develop and implement robust payment processing schedules with clear expectations for employees and vendors.
• Ensure accurate coding of transactions across general ledger, location, and department dimensions.
• Oversee corporate credit card administration including spend limits and approvals.
• Drive expense report compliance and ensure supporting documentation is in place.
• Support month-end close and GL reporting for payables-related activities.
• Develop and maintain payables policies, procedures, and internal controls.
