Alliance Resource Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for a fully remote role within a growing corporate accounting team. You will oversee the complete AP lifecycle, manage vendor relations, and coordinate with Treasury and IT on cross-entity processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in AP, proven leadership of remote or offshore teams, and a track record of improving processes in multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with full-cycle ownership.
• Multi-entity, high-volume AP experience in a high-growth environment.
• Proven experience supervising AP staff, including remote or offshore teams.
• Recent experience working in a fully remote role.
• Track record of process improvement and hands-on problem solving.
• Comfort operating without a fully integrated ERP, pulling from multiple disconnected systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable including invoice processing, coding, approval workflow, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations
• Review and approve weekly payment runs across ACH, wire, and check Direct and develop the offshore AP team, setting priorities, reviewing work, and maintaining a consistent meeting cadence
• Reconcile corporate credit cards and coordinate with Treasury on funding the AP payment account
• Own W-9 maintenance and annual 1099 filings
• Build and document AP policy, workflows, and standard operating procedures
• Develop AP KPIs and reporting to track department performance and weekly cash requirements
• Partner with IT on shared service cost allocations across entities
