Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee AP and general accounting for GCNA and affiliated entities. You will supervise team members, ensure timely payment of invoices, verify documentation, and reconcile general ledger accounts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or related field and at least 3 years in AP/GL, with strong Excel and ERP experience (Workday a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or general ledger accounting.
• Experience in high volume AP, best practices, automation and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; Workday experience is a plus.
• Experience with ERP implementations or upgrades is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical ability and data handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AP and general accounting tasks for GCNA and affiliated entities.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and verification of supporting documentation.
• Oversee reconciliation of general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain AP aging accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Prepare rent and CAM payments and correspond with landlords.
• Prepare 1099s annually and handle related filings.
• Review vendor communications and check runs for accuracy and policy adherence.
• Prepare general journal entries and reconciliations as needed.
• Support process improvements and internal control enhancements.
• Coach and develop team members and manage performance.
