Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead AP and GL activities, ensuring timely invoice payments and accurate reconciliations. The role supervises a team, maintains vendor relationships, and enforces internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years in AP/GL with ERP experience; Workday is a plus. Strong attention to detail and leadership are essential to GCNA's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or general ledger accounting.
• Experience in high volume AP, internal controls, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Accounts Payable Aging is accurate and timely and resolves discrepancies.
• Prepares and ensures accuracy of rent and CAM payments for leased properties.
• Oversees correspondence with landlords and vendors; main point of contact for escalations.
• Prepares general journal entries and reconciliations for assigned GL accounts.
• Monitors compliance with processes, identifies issues, and suggests improvements.
• Leads performance management and development of team members.
• Maintains regular in-person attendance and supporting company culture.
