Job summary

Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Accounting team in Dallas. You will serve as AP's first point of contact, manage all AP processing for operating expenses with Deltek Vantagepoint, and oversee the corporate credit card program.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Accounting/Accounts Payable experience in professional services, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AP’s first point of contact and represent the department professionally with internal clients and outside vendors.
• Manage all AP processing for operating expenses using Deltek Vantagepoint, including vendor onboarding, coding, approval tracking and posting to GL.
• Manage corporate credit card program including issuing cards, setting spending limits and reconciliation.
• Process expense reports and payments with auditing, approval tracking, and respond to employee questions on coding or budgeting.
• Assist in processing disbursements on a weekly basis and handle checks.
• New hire setup in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Verify accuracy of accounting documents and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile records with employees, management, vendors or customers and recommend actions to resolve issues.
• Provide analysis and feedback on efficiency and process improvements.
• Compile data and prepare reports and responses.
• Assist other accounting staff with budget and spend variance analysis as needed.

• Serve as Accounting’s first point of contact and represent the department and the firm in a highly professional manner; interfacing with internal clients, as well as external candidates, consultants, and vendors
• Manage all AP Processing for the operating expenses of the firm, including vendor onboarding, invoice coding, invoice approval tracking and posting to the general ledger using Deltek Vantagepoint software.
• Manage the corporate credit card program including issuing company credit cards, maintaining individual spending authorities and reconciliation.
• Processing company expense reports and payments, including auditing, approval tracking and first point of contact for employee questions regarding coding or budgeting.
• Assist in processing all disbursements on a weekly basis and check handling
• New Hire Set up in Vantagepoint
• Verify accuracy of accounting documents or records and investigate questionable data

• Experience : 5+ years of Accounting/Accounts Payable experience required ; professional services preferred
• Work Environment : Ability to work onsite in the office, Monday - Friday.
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to pay close attention to details, excellent accuracy and completeness, and adherence to strict deadlines
• High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, database software, and/or business systems
• Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to distill complex information
• Experience coordinating and managing multiple projects/tasks involving cross-functional teams
• Willingness to support multiple team members and department initiatives in addition to normal
