Job summary

Proclinical seeks a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant for a contract role in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage complex close processes, ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance, and drive accurate reporting for a multinational setting.

You will handle full-cycle AP in NetSuite, support AP automation, validate vendor data, and collaborate with GBS and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA or Master's preferred.
• Experience with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Experience in multinational environments, pharma or consumer goods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities in alignment with the global accounting calendar.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure IFRS, internal policies, and statutory requirements compliance for assigned areas.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable using NetSuite and AP automation tools.
• Validate vendor bank details and support onboarding processes.
• Post cash entries in NetSuite and review deposits reconciled by the GBS team.
• Conduct balance sheet reviews and analytical assessments of account fluctuations.
• Collaborate with GBS and cross-functional teams on journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support global finance projects, ERP enhancements, and process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position focuses on balance sheet integrity, financial data accuracy, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support both internal and external reporting needs. You will also contribute to global initiatives and process improvements impacting U.S. operations.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master's degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in IFRS and US GAAP, with the ability to apply accounting guidance to complex transactions.
• Experience in multinational environments, preferably within pharmaceutical or consumer goods industries.
• Familiarity with Global Business Services (GBS) or shared services models is advantageous.
• Strong ERP system knowledge, particularly NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.

• Collaborate with GBS and cross-functional teams to review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support global finance projects, ERP enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
