Responsibilities

• Analyze, verify, and process invoices and check requests.
• Ensure proper routing, coding, approvals, and compliance with policies.
• Perform high-volume invoice processing and data entry.
• Manage full-cycle AP payment processing.
• Conduct vendor reconciliations and GL account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities, including accrual preparation.
• Review AP aging reports and open deposits.
• Maintain strong vendor and internal relationships.
• Assist with 1099 reporting and audit support.
• Collaborate on cross-functional finance initiatives as needed.

Senior Accounts Payable Specialist — $30-$35/hr | Hybrid | San Leandro, CA

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, ownership, and problem-solving truly matter? A leading lifestyle and consumer brand is seeking a proactive Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing finance team in a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity based in San Leandro, CA.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative accounting team while taking ownership of high-volume AP processes, vendor relationships, reconciliations, and month-end support in a dynamic corporate environment.

Location & Schedule

• Hybrid onsite schedule in San Leandro, CA
• Minimum 3 days onsite per week
• 6-month W-2 assignment with strong potential for conversion
• Pay rate: $30-$35/hr

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze, verify, and process invoices and check requests with accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure proper routing, coding, approvals, and compliance with internal policies
• Perform high-volume invoice processing and data entry
• Manage full-cycle AP payment processing
• Conduct vendor reconciliations and GL account reconciliations
