CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in Minnesota is seeking a Senior – Accounting Methods to join our Federal Tax Strategies team. The role focuses on accounting methods research and tax strategy execution, serving clients with precision and integrity.

You will conduct research, perform calculations, and prepare filings while collaborating with firm leaders. The position emphasizes mentorship, project management, and timely deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• CPA exam eligibility preferred.
• Experience in business services, public accounting or consulting.
• Experience in accounting methods preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Access preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult on accounting methods-related issues including changes in overall methods and revenue, expense recognition, inventory, capitalization, cost recovery and periods.
• Conduct research related to accounting methods tax issues to expand knowledge base.
• Participate in accounting methods projects, including client interviews, data review, calculations and filings.
• Collaborate with managers, directors and principals and other professionals throughout the Firm.
• Coach or mentor staff to develop skills and careers.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a reliable manner.
