Job summary

CLA in Atlanta seeks a Senior – Accounting Methods to join our Federal Tax Strategies team. You will consult on accounting methods issues, perform research, and collaborate on client projects with managers and principals.

The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 2 years of relevant experience; CPA exam eligibility is preferred. CLA offers growth, flexibility, and a collaborative culture with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• CPA exam eligible preferred.
• Experience in business services, public accounting or consulting preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult on accounting methods issues including automatic and non-automatic methods changes.
• Conduct research related to accounting methods tax issues.
• Participate in accounting methods projects with client data and filings.
• Collaborate with managers, directors and principals across the Firm.
• Coach or mentor staff to develop skills and careers.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a reliable manner.
