Trustly is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to own the integrity of US financial statements, lead the general ledger, and ensure tax compliance across US entities. You will mentor a small team of accountants and contribute hands-on as needed.

In a fast‑growing FinTech environment, you will oversee monthly closings, reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal controls. This role offers leadership within a global payments business and opportunities to scale financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Significant accounting experience in Tech/FinTech/Financial Services.
• US GAAP knowledge and financial statement consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Own month end, quarter end, and year end close routines with journal entries and intercompany reconciliations (US GAAP).
• Review and approve balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reconciliations.
• Oversee daily bank movements, multi-currency reconciliations, and working capital tracking.
• Lead quarterly and annual US federal, state, and local tax filings with external advisors.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and manage audit schedules.
• Drive implementation and automation of core financial systems and SOX controls.
• Mentor and develop a small team of accountants and set priorities.
• Collaborate with Payroll, FP&A, Accounts Payable, and Global Finance teams.
