Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 9+ years of combined experience including public audit firm.
• 3+ years of leadership experience across geographies.
• Active CPA certification.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules.
• Ability to meet strict monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading multi-functional accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger and revenue recognition processes.
• Lead and support a multi-functional accounting department.
• Review quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements; support GAAP disclosures.
• Maintain internal controls over financial statements; collaborate with Contracts, Operations, and IT.
• Drive process enhancements and automation in accounting workflows.
• Support internal and external audits for a public company.
• Manage direct reports and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals.
• Address accounting implications of new pronouncements; develop memos and action plans.
• Document and implement revenue recognition for new contracts under ASC 606.
