Job summary

PASS Fire and Security, a Midwest security solutions provider, seeks an Accounting Manager for its Midwest Hub. You will lead local accounting, billing, payable and collections, with responsibility for job cost accounting and project billing, financial reporting, and monthly close activities.

You will collaborate with Operations and Hub Presidents to meet financial objectives, drive KPI dashboards, and support audits and M&A activities while modernizing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance-related positions, with at least 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, accruals, project reporting and revenue recognition.
• Manage and oversee all job cost accounting in regional subsidiaries: project setup, billing, rate changes, change orders, budget-to-actual variance.
• Lead month-end reporting and variance analysis, and support management discussions.
• Assist Corporate Finance with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Partner with Hub Presidents, Corporate Finance and Operations Leadership to meet financial goals.
• Prepare operational metrics and dashboard reporting and drive process improvements.
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and other accounting projects.
• Lead integration of accounting processes in M&A and post-acquisition efforts.
