Job summary

Fire Protection Team seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, AR, AP, and month-end close. You will report to the Controller and lead the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Collections teams to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.

You will improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with operations, sales, service, and admin teams to deliver dependable financial information.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience with GL, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience supervising accounting staff preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including AR, AP, and reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries and schedules.
• Coordinate month-, quarter-, and year-end close.
• Monitor cash flow, invoicing, and collections.
• Assist Controller with performance feedback and department priorities.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits.
