Job summary

PASS Fire and Security in the Midwest seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee financial performance, job cost management, and reporting for the regional hub. You will lead local accounting, billing, payables and collections and partner with Operations to drive performance.

You will manage month-end close, variance analysis, dashboards, audits and tax filings, and support corporate finance on M&A activities. A CPA and 7+ years in accounting with 3+ in management are preferred, Oracle NetSuite exp

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA preferred.
Minimum of 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in management.
Experience communicating financial results to senior executives.
Knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and related standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee key financial processes: cash management, AR, AP, inventory, accruals, project reporting, revenue recognition.
Manage and oversee job cost accounting for regional subsidiaries: project setup, billing, rate changes, change orders, budget-to-actual variance.
Lead month-end close, variance analysis, and management reporting; develop dashboards and actionable insights.
Support corporate finance with month-end/year-end close and audits; assist with tax filings.
Lead or participate in M&A accounting integration and regional finance transformation initiatives.
