Job summary

Capri Communities is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for a growing multi-entity senior living organization. You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, accounts payable, audits, internal controls, tax compliance, and accounting operations across multiple legal entities.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting expertise, extensive multi-entity experience, and a proven track record in consolidations, intercompany

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Consolidations & Multi-Entity Accounting: oversee multiple legal entities, prepare monthly consolidated statements, manage intercompany accounting and eliminations, report ownership structures and related-party activity.
• Tax Compliance: coordinate annual tax filings with external advisors, prepare information for federal/state/local filings, ensure compliance, assist with planning and entity structure considerations.
• Financial Close & Reporting: lead monthly/quarterly/annual close, review journal entries and reconciliations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, improve reporting quality.
• Team Leadership & Development: coach and develop accounting staff, set performance expectations, drive process improvements, ensure audit readiness.
• Audit & Internal Controls: coordinate audits, provide schedules, strengthen internal controls, monitor policy compliance.
