Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager in its Chief Accounting Office (CAO) in San Diego, CA. You will lead the team responsible for general liabilities, AP accruals, contingencies, rebates, and debt, ensuring accurate, policy-aligned results.

You will drive end-to-end processes, collaborate across Accounting, Finance and Business units, and implement AI-driven improvements to enhance efficiency and controls. CPA preferred; MBA desirable; 3 days/week in-office hybrid.

Qualifications

• 8+ years post-graduate experience in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days/week in San Diego office.
• Public company experience a plus; audit exposure helpful.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Ability to lead teams and drive priorities with tight deadlines.
• Experience with enterprise financial systems and AI-enabled processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close for timely, accurate reporting.
• Oversee liability accruals including PO activity, rebates, debt.
• Ensure policy compliance and strong internal controls.
• Develop and lead staff; foster trust and accountability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and Business teams.
