Job summary

Jupiter Endovascular is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager in Menlo Park, CA to lead day-to-day accounting operations as we move toward our commercial launch. You will partner with the Corporate Controller on technical accounting, internal controls, and audit readiness, while overseeing monthly close, reporting, and process improvements.

This is an in-office role requiring hands-on leadership in a fast-paced startup environment with a focus on SOX compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role in the medical device industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to mentor teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience with internal controls, SOX 404, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close per US GAAP.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Design and maintain internal control procedures over financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors for the first independent financial audit.
• Develop Sunshine Act reporting procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Automate accounting workflows in NetSuite and related tools.
• Develop and mentor accounting team members.
