Job summary

Jupiter Endovascular, based in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations as we prepare for our commercial launch. You will partner with the Corporate Controller on technical accounting, internal controls, and audit readiness, while overseeing monthly close and financial reporting in a fast-paced startup environment.

This hands-on role requires a CPA, 10+ years in accounting with 5+ in management, and experience in medical devices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role in medical device industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and audit documentation experience.
• Experience with inventory/cost accounting in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end close processes and prepare consolidated financial statements under US GAAP.
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Design and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX 404 compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors for the first independent audit and PBC schedules.
• Develop Sunshine Act reporting and other regulatory requirements.
• Automate accounting workflows within NetSuite and other tools to reduce close times.
• Develop team members for career advancement.
• Perform other duties as needed.
