Job summary

MedTech Growth Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager for a growing medical device company focused on orthopedic bracing. You will oversee financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and internal controls to support scaling operations across manufacturing and sales.

The role requires manufacturing accounting experience, a bachelors, and hands-on use of QuickBooks or similar software. You will mentor staff, guide month-end close, and ensure accurate bookkeeping while safeguarding confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in accounting roles in a manufacturing related accounting environment.
• Hands-on experience with financial software such as QuickBooks or similar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GAAP financial statements and ensure adherence to relevant standards with focus on manufacturing process - inventory and CoGS.
• Manage quarter-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate records.
• Mentor and develop finance staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
