Job description

Title: Commercial Operations Lead

Company Summary: Join a team that’s redefining what’s possible in cardiovascular treatment. At Jupiter Endovascular, we’re revolutionizing catheter-based therapies by bringing the precision and control of surgery to minimally invasive procedures. For decades, catheters have remained largely unchanged—rigid, unstable, and difficult to maneuver through the body’s winding anatomy. We’ve developed a transforming fixation technology that navigates flexibly through the vascular system, then locks into place to deliver treatment with surgical-like stability and control.

Our device solves one of the longest-standing challenges in endovascular procedures, empowering physicians and improving outcomes for millions of patients living with cardiovascular disease. We’re entering an exciting new phase—scaling up production, expanding our team, and preparing for commercial launch.

Founded and headquartered in Menlo Park, California, Jupiter Endovascular is led by a proven team of medical device entrepreneurs and backed by top-tier investors across venture capital, private equity, and strategic partners. We’ve built a fast-paced, collaborative culture grounded in innovation, teamwork, and purpose. Every role at Jupiter directly contributes to our mission: saving lives by advancing the future of endovascular therapy.

Position Overview: The Commercial Operations Lead will build and scale the operating foundation for Jupiter Endovascular’s commercial organization as the company prepares for and enters commercialization. This is a high-impact, hands‑on individual contributor role for a builder who can independently lead cross‑functional initiatives, establish scalable commercial processes, and turn commercial data into clear actions and business decisions.

This person will help build the commercial operations function from the ground up, including the systems, tools, reporting, processes, and operating rhythms needed to enable a growing sales organization. The Commercial Operations Lead will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Clinical, and other stakeholders to develop CRM infrastructure, establish dashboards and KPIs, improve pipeline and account visibility, support territory and account planning, and drive commercial readiness.

The ideal candidate has owned commercial or sales operations initiatives from concept through implementation—not simply supported a mature operations function. They are comfortable operating in ambiguity, balancing strategy with execution, and leading projects across multiple teams without direct authority.

This is an in‑office role.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and scale Jupiter’s commercial operations foundation, including core systems, processes, reporting, governance, and operating rhythms needed to support commercial launch and future growth.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and adoption of commercial CRM infrastructure, including account hierarchy, account targeting, pipeline stages, opportunity management, rep activity tracking, workflow design, data standards, reporting, and user adoption.
  • Own CRM data quality, reporting accuracy, process discipline, and cross‑functional visibility across commercial systems and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain commercial dashboards, KPI frameworks, leadership reporting, and recurring performance‑management tools to support sales leadership, commercial planning, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and other leadership updates.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to build and scale core sales operating processes, including market sizing, account segmentation and prioritization, territory alignment, demand forecasting, sales quota and performance tracking, incentive‑plan development and administration.
  • Support commercial readiness initiatives as priorities evolve, including reimbursement intelligence, claims, pricing and contracting support, order‑to‑cash processes, customer onboarding, distributor or channel reporting, and field‑enablement processes.
  • Conduct and synthesize competitive, market, customer, and commercial‑performance intelligence to identify growth opportunities, market dynamics, targeting priorities, risks, and potential barriers to adoption.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to commercial leadership by proactively identifying gaps, recommending practical solutions, and driving execution in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, or a similarly relevant function required.
  • Experience supporting a medtech, medical‑device, diagnostics, healthcare, life‑sciences, or other regulated commercial organization.
  • Experience with pricing, contracting, order‑to‑cash, channel operations, distributor management, commercial finance, or customer‑onboarding processes.
  • Demonstrated experience independently building, implementing, or improving commercial and sales operations processes, systems, or reporting infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting sales incentive compensation design, administration, or performance measurement.
  • Hands‑on experience with CRM systems, including CRM implementation, workflow design, process optimization, reporting, data governance, user adoption, or business‑process development.
  • Experience developing sales dashboards, KPI frameworks, performance reporting, forecasting tools, and recurring commercial operating cadences.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations disciplines, including account segmentation, territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, CRM governance, field enablement, and sales performance measurement.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, reporting, CRM, or data‑visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, stakeholder‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, early‑stage environment where processes, tools, infrastructure, and priorities are still being built.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting commercialization, product launch, new‑market entry, or the buildout of a new or rapidly scaling commercial organization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work with large or complex datasets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Familiarity with hospital‑account structures and contract processes, provider systems, reimbursement dynamics, claims data, procedure‑level data, or healthcare‑market data.
  • Familiarity with vascular, cardiovascular, interventional, or catheter‑based therapies is a plus.

Why Jupiter Endovascular?

  • Work in a culture built on shared purpose, where passionate teammates support one another and stay motivated by improving patient lives.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment that values new ideas, gives everyone a voice, and offers professional growth and exposure across departments as the company enters an exciting phase of expansion.
  • Earn competitive pay with performance incentives and equity opportunities.
  • Enjoy comprehensive, top of the market medical, dental, and vision coverage focused on meaningful premium support and smart savings.
  • Access meaningful benefits including a top tier 401(k) with a best in‑class plan design which includes strong employer contributions, short and long‑term disability, life insurance, commuter benefits, and wellness support.
  • Take advantage of a healthy paid time off policy, company holidays, and an environment that encourages a healthy work‑life balance.
  • Strengthen relationships through shared experiences – from daily company‑provided lunches and Thursday socials to monthly potlucks, company events, and volunteer opportunities that have a real impact in the community.

Compensation: Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $120,000-$140,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits, and 401(k) with matching.
