Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners seeks an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, internal financial reporting, and account analysis in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead teams, ensure GAAP adherence and SOX controls, mentor staff, coordinate with auditors and vendors, and drive process improvements while maintaining a strong internal control framework.

Qualifications

• 7+ years accounting experience with supervisory experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding and application of GAAP.
• Demonstrated knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams through change positively.
• Strong analytical and Excel/Access skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a high-volume, changing environment.
• Maintain efficient financial systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates and oversee staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Supervise and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close.
• Perform and review complex accounting reconciliation and analysis.
• Direct activities of teams for general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation, fixed assets, and capex accounting.
• Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements and resource efficiency.
• Lead teams through change while maintaining internal control integrity.
• Prepare schedules for internal/external auditors and support audits.
• Perform financial analysis and complete ad hoc reports and projects.
