V & E Hospitality Group - Corporate Office is seeking an Accounting Project Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals and drive process improvements in a dynamic corporate environment. You will oversee month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and deliver special reports to management.

Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential. This is a hands-on role with mentoring responsibilities and opportunities to impact financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to problem solve and think both creatively and logically.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Be a hands-on leader of a team of talented accounting professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to improve transparency, efficiency, and process development.
• Monitor relevant GAAP developments to ensure accounting policies are compliant.
• Identify and drive projects to develop and enhance procedures for areas of ownership.
• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Lead the team in successfully executing against close responsibilities during the period.
• Proactively work with other departments on new business initiatives; ensure financial statements reflect proper recognition of new business transactions per GAAP.
• Prepare special reports and assist in special projects as assigned by the Controller and management team.
