North Wind is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, the monthly close, general ledger activity, reconciliations, accounts payable, cash and banking, fixed assets, and internal controls. You will ensure GAAP compliance and provide financial analysis and cross-functional support to Finance leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience leading or supervising accounting staff preferred.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.
• US citizenship is required due to security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timelines, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and related schedules.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements and variance analyses for Finance leadership.
• Oversee accounts payable, cash receipts, and banking activities with proper controls.
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead accounting staff, set priorities, provide training, and monitor deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and applicable government contracting requirements.
